I don't see how being smart with your money equates to being cheap.... Throw $900 at a dealer to service the car, or save a few hundred and have it done at a comparable shop? You'd think that one would be a no-brainer...

Just taking the FX to service for $599

I know its a lot but my dad wants to do it from the dealer

Im taking my G to a shop here called Toy box auto that services Z's

and its only $175 for the 15/30K service

Infiniti service is a rip off in AZ

My G is worth $40K... SWEET... i pulled one over on the dealership for selling it to me for $25k!!! i should just turn around and sell it and pocket that extra $15k!!!

For anyone that wants to pay the $900 for the tune up... i have some real nice property to sell you down in New Orleans!

Nissan service IS cheaper. Infiniti charges more $$ per hour on labor bc it's Infiniti brand. Infiniti/hr labor here is $115.

Interesting, here in Torrance, Calif. the Nissan dealer was or is $100 more than the Infiniti people. I am curious, since I've replace the cabin air filter and have a K & N air filter, how much less should the work will be?

The 60K service at Riverside Infiniti is listed at $499. Still expensive, but a hell of a lot less than $900. Change the oil, oil filter, intake filter, and cabin filter yourself, which brings the Infiniti dealer costs down by over $200, and you are left with just a flush or two and inspections.

My wife took the car into the dealer and was told that the air filter is so cheap they don't charge the customer for that as well as the cabin air filter. So they just decided to knock off $100.
