My dealer told me that the OEM front lip does not fit on our Coupes and advised me to not to buy the lip yet. He told me that people have tried to put them on but could not without a lot of modifications. Anyone heard of this?

Dont listen to dealer, ...The lip Fits perfect, it comes with all the instructions, hardwares, and the templates... "You do not need a lot of Modification"
1) cost is about $360.00 plus tax...
2) Installation 1-2 hrs
3) 3~4 weeks for delivery

Why would something MADE for the car not fit? Your dealer is full of BS. They'll probably want to charge you $300 to install it, so they make up that bs about modifications needed.

The only problem I've heard of with front lips not fitting right is on the 2004 TL. Their "OEM" lip is actually made by an aftermarket company and it's fittment is pathetic. I know because I spent ~2 months on TL forums reading about all of the gear size problems, tranny problems, lip fitment issues, tire flat spot issues, memory seat malfunctions, etc... I even went and test drove the TL and looked at the model on the show room floor w/ the pathetically fitting lip on it. Looked bad IMO.

Haven't heard or seen anything wrong with the 2004 G, that's why I bought one and am soooooo glad I did.

Thanks, I did myself with my friend.... I did drill the holes, Since i'm getting a New Front Bumper(Only for Show), I just decided to drill the holes, It fits perfect and Clean!!!

yeah dont listen, my wife went to the nissan dealership yesterday, and the guy told her that nissan doesnt make infiniti, she even told him i had an infiniti, and he said i was wrong, what a maroon.

Is it just me or does it seem like most of us know way more about Infiniti cars and even other cars that are competitors of Infiniti than many employees at the dealer?

I'd figure if you're selling cars...shouldn't you know pretty much everything about the car?

I could understand if you work for Mercedes and there are like 4 different lines of each car and like there are 8 or so different models....but like Infiniti....there are only 6 cars (well until the QX56 comes out. Like its pathetic sometimes.
