I hit 400 on ocassion. But I typicall fill up much sooner because of my racing habbit. I still get well over 20 mpg even after multiple races. I topped 26 once! I was so happy I beat the EPA estimated!!! But 200... something is wrong there I'd say.

That's what I was thinking - sounds like it's running waaaaay too rich. Just driving around the city I get about 315miles before my fuel light comes on.

The highest I ever got was 380 and that was mostly highway driving. I normally get 225-250 city miles.

I dont know so far 310 my best city and highway combined ( more city though)

400?!?! thats crazy. I wish I could see that kinda mpg. all I usually get is +/- 250

Although I did drive from Las Vegas to L.A. on less than 1 tank of gas. Its about 400 miles one way and I got there with 3/4 tank. I was pretty surprised, but then again I was cruising at 70 the whole way!! lol

I get about 280-290 before I fill up, but I drive it hard a lot. So I have no excuses.

I drive hard one week and get between 260 and 290 to the tank. I drive conservative the next....I still only get 290 to 300, not much better. Its a lose lose situation.

hey guys, i have Big question regarding my gas mileage. I picked up a used auto 03 about a year ago. After the first oil change that i gave it i started to check how much mileage i could get and i got around 330ish before i filled up( i know realize how much dam gas these cars have when the light comes on!!, easily could have made it to 350) This was great to me since my last car was a honda and it was getting round 350. Well lately, after the second oil change, the car is barely reaching 250 or so before the light comes on. NOW the question is, "can a dirty air filter(stock) make that much of a different in mileage being that goodyear told me i need a new one?" I opted NOT to get the new oem filter since i am planning on an intake system, mostly likely the K&N. My gas mileage just sucks really, really bad now in my opinion and i dont have any "check engine lights" ever. I sometimes feel like im driving my expedition!!! Anyhow, if you guys have any info that would be great. Oh, just to let you know the only performance mods are a full borla exhaust system, and headers and i use synthetic blend oil with Lucas stabilizer and gas treatment for both changes.

In that case you never drove a 98 Maxima stick - I'd get ~23MPGs intown and up to 29 on highway

I miss that car :'(
