Help please!

Hello,

I posted a thread earlier about winter tires from an 06 would fit on an 03. I recently purchased them from a member on this site.

I tried them on this weekend but there is something blocking the wheel from fitting. There are the 5 studs for the rim but there is a shorter stud in between the other studs.

What should I do? I am not sure what that stud is therefore...

That stud is there to prevent the front wheel being mounted on to the rear, so switch'em up and you should be good

btw, they are not the stock wheels, they are 17' advanti wheels (for winter), that were on an 06 G35. Not sure as to what to switch..

That bolt is to keep people from mixing up our FACOTRY staggered rims..

remove the bolt with a 11mm or 9mm (i forgot) and just throw it away.. remember bigger tire goes in the back

enjoy

Hey Vishal G35,

Another word of warning.... On the '03 G35, if it is the manual coupe or came with the 18" wheel upgrade, it also has Brembo brakes. You can tell this because the brake calipers will be gold colored with the word "Brembo" on it. If so, not all 17" rims that fit the '06 G35 will fit over the '03's brakes. Otherwise, you should be O.K.

medoug.
