Question Help with mounting License plate!

I love how our cars cost $35000+ but yet all the screws they use to hold things on rust and snap easily...

I was simply trying to put new license plates on my car and all 4 screws snapped (both front and back) The screws were all plastic, but the nut was rusted metal. Gotta love it.

Anyway, I need to find another clip since i had to drill out the screw, and it basically stipped the inside of the bracket? Does anyone know where I can get a replacement clip?

Heres a pic

Its called a J Nut........most auto parts stores carry them.....just bring in your old one and they will match it up........ I had the same problem for my rear plate....the screw was frozen in the J Nut, and I had to drill out the pc.

I now have plastic screws in place, and I don't think I will have any more problems....

Hmmmm....that pic looks very familar
