Used G35 coupe price

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a used G35 coupe 5AT, fully loaded at a carmax dealership. It's $31998+tax+title+license. Carribean blue isn't my first choice in color, but I'm able to live with it. I would like some opinions if this is a deal or dud. Am I better off buying a new one?

Please see: http://www.carmax.com/dyn/compare/co...18&ShowInstr=Y

I called the Carmax and verified that there are no dings, wheels are 18", and it has navigation. Thank you for your time for a newbie.

go to cars direct...or to www.bjsauto.com...then see what a good price would be for a 2004.

Ripp Off for 11k miles.
I've seen black 03 coupe with 15k miles for $29,495 I think top of the line but not sure and definately with 18".

If I were you I'd rather get either brand new 04 coupe with color of your choice and not fully loaded (you can add any aftermarket 18" if you choose to later) or used under $30k.

Good luck!

Re: Used G35 coupe price

I bought mine last week for 30, which included the tax and license. The actual price on the ad was 32,000. Just have confidence, knowledge and be aggressive and you can really lower the price they are asking.

Oh btw my G is 6AT fully loaded minus the aero package. 8,195 miles when I bought it.

JustICE, looks like you got a very good price for the car. Where do you live?

I've been looking for this car for a while and I thinking about purchasing a used 04 6MT with prem and aero with 6,500 miles for $31,900. Is this a good price? The car also has tint, car cover and a few other extras that really don't add up to much.

Firefox, seems like the car you're looking is a little high if you ask me. If it was private party you could talk them down but if I were you, I would keep looking.

Re: Used G35 coupe price

I have been looking in to buying a coupe also for the past few months. I've seen them as low as $29,870 (in Ga) for a loaded with 9K miles. It seems like the average that I have seen in Florida for a loaded used is about $33K. I think I might just buy a new coupe with less options just because I worry about how hard the previous owner drove the car (but I plan on keeping my car for a while, this may not be an issue to you).
Good luck in your search!

I agree with Gmaster . These #'s are @ or close to a new vehicle #'s and u get to choose. I had no problem with my local dealer. He was looking to put vehicles on the road. It's all in the negoiations. If you show that you are ready to deal now, most of them will horsetrade with you. They can't pay the rent with a vehicle sitting on the lot.

Good luk to all in your G hunting.

I always say, try Grubbs Infiniti, first.

Don't settle down with a color that is not one of your favorite, you'll regret in the future.

Re: Used G35 coupe price

There's been an ad in the Shreveport (LA) paper for a red '03 coupe, (trans unk), stated "perfect", with 5K miles for $31,500. The ad's run for about two weeks .... (318)797-4567 or (318)294-4567. I have no info on the vehicle or seller.

"trans unk" means "type of transmission is unknown - no info in the ad"...

Sage:
I live in the Los Angeles area. The place I purchased my car was located in Glendale. It was advertised on autotrader.com.

Justice,
What color is your car? I've looked consistantly on autotrader but never found a car in the socal area, with the options I wanted, for that price.

Starting to wonder if my 04' for $31,900 was too high???

Re: Used G35 coupe price

Thanks for all the replies. I just tried Grubbs Infiniti. I'm looking at this twilight blue G35 with the premium package and tire and wheel package. No navigation.

MSRP is $35360.

Turns out that Grubbs has a vehicle purchase program with my company and they can knock off $3000 right off the bat.

So that comes out to be $32360. Is that price reasonable? or should I still try to play hardball? Thanks in advance.
