alot of people have made their oem grill black with the silver mount fuji symbol, has anyone ever made their grill flat black, if so please post pics, with silver mount fuji sign?

just painted mine with Dupi-color Metalcast anodized surface color system in smoke, MC206 after 1st using adhesion promoter, CP199, IMHO, came out great, still get that chrome look, but its very "smoked" in color. I wanted black chrome, tried several custom paint places and body shops here in Vegas, no one wanted to even try it, problem being chrome on plastic. Cost me about $11. Just be careful of the inner bottom tabs, can't really push on them too much or the little tabs crack as 2 of mine did.

 

Has anyone done it to match their car color, like AB?

Paint it AB first, put it on, and take pics. Then paint it black. Hey, like I said, I'd like to see one w AB colored grills. hehehe...
