I have a dilema, I am looking for a 6MT G to replace my 5AT, and I have looked at a few, but I cant decide what color I like better. AB or IP?
Pros for AB.
-Not many people have it(rare?)
-Nice color
-Comes with black interior
Cons for AB
-Might get sick of it over time?
-Cop Magnet?
-Not as classy as IP?

Pros for IP
-Nice color
-I like it.....lol
Cons for IP
-No black interior
-Not as rare as AB
-Hard to colormatch

I understand that the final choice is going to depends on the condition and price of the car I am looking at, but I cant decide what color I like better?

Did you want a G37? or staying witha G35?

If you want a G37, I'd go with the Blue Slate... (my G35's color. LOL)

Otherwise, I'd go with a the AB since IT IS rare.

i wish i would have gotten a blue one. i just wanted black interior and sunroof, which best deal i found was on a dg...good luck finding a blue one. i never seen them. maybe 2 ever

I always wanted the AB but ended up with the Brilliant silver. Either way I am happy.

 

I say AB for two reasons.
1) As you said it's RARE. I could have one but was a 2004 w/Brembo @ 22K miles, Or OB 2005 w/Rev-Up @ 3K miles for the same price on '05
2) The black interior: I have the light color interior. ( This is 1 of the 2 things that I hate about my G)

 

Its hard for me to decide because there are Pros/Cons to each color. I made a mistake getting black, and I wont do that again.

 

I went through the same decision actually. I got the AB for a lot of reasons, but a big one is that IP is impossible to color match and I knew if i ever needed repairs I wouldn't be satisfied with it (or at least thats what IP owners told me). Aside from that, I rarely see my color and it looks great.

 

Before I ever bought my G, a CB g35 caught my eye and I really took a liking to it, but i was really looking to buy DG. I ended up going with an AB coupe because it was a really good deal, i wasn't crazy about the color at first, but now I love it, I have yet to see another AB coupe. go athens blue

 

I got AB. i dont know i couldnt see myself in another colored car except blue. i sat in red not my style. but the AB i had to search and find mine. was it a awhile til i found mine. AB i got it cuz its rare and its blue not like the 350z. your pros and cons are pretty precise. if they had a Twilight blue i would of taken that over any color. the only reason i would get an IP is for wheels. any color you paint your wheels would match. the black interior on the AB is awesome color matchin. im very satisfied with my ride. only con is it isnt stick. but i can live with it. my next car for sure is gonna be stick.

Hmmm...I can't decide.

Despite my avatar, Athens Blue is not a cop magnet color. I've only been pulled over once in the 18 months I've owned it, and I never ever stay within the speed limit.

White is nice, but it's a pain in the you-know-what to keep clean. Also, white is "classy", blue is "sporty." What type of an image would you like to project? It's up to you.
