rattle when breaking

i've changed my brake pads to project nu for a few months and, and shaved my old brembo rotors to go along with the new pads. i have the front rotors when i got the pads replaced, but the back rotters about a month after pad replacement as the car was squeaking when braking.

cutting the rotors help with the squeaking, but recently i'm getting mild rattling when braking, which is getting slowly progressively worse.

the rattle is worse when i press lightly on the brakes, when i press harder, the rattling goes away.

have i warped my rotors?

is it safe to still drive the car like this, or should i replace rotors / pads / or both?

thanks

Do your rotors and pads still meet the minimum thickness all around? That's the only good measure to know whether you should still be driving on them or not. And if the pads are close to the wear indicators, you should change them soon. Rotors don't really "warp" per se, they get uneven pad deposits. You can get rid of a lot of the pad deposits by re-bedding the pads. do a search on here or on Google for pad bedding procedure. First, though, get your rotor thickness checked.

i have to look into checking the rotor thickness. i think it was ok after they cut it, but again, i'm not sure if the brembo rotors are meant to be cut.

the pads have only a few months of driving on them and are in good shape

NO, no at all.

It was "not-cutting" the rotors when changing pads that caused the problem, fyi

Yeah if your car is shaking when you're braking that means your rotor is uneven/warped.
