Hey guys i currently drive a 98 bmw 740il and its been a great car for the last 2 years that ive had it but its time to move on and ive had my sights set on a g35 coupe for a while...Ive been checking prices at the manheim auctions since my dads a dealer and 03s are selling for around 13 with 70k miles and 04s around 15 with 45k miles...can you guys tell me what differences came with each year? any packages? i want an automatic...what i should look for before i get a car...just some basic help...also how much does it usually cost for a supercharger for the g35? is the g35 slower than the 7? i know the 7 is a lot heavier but it has 282hp and 310tq...dont flame meee

What's up man, I see Beebo's in here so I'll let do a quick answer before he does. Umm, try to get an 04 because the 03's had the most bugs and you're more likely to have problems (not saying you will but more likely). The G35 is faster than the 7, and a supercharger will easily cost you over 5 grand installed and ready to go.

 

Ok now that I beat Beebo..... Nice 740 man, it's sick. And to continue with my answer lol, when you go buy the G there isn't really anything you should 'look' out for, these are reliable cars. Maybe you can check the tire tread, because the G eats tires way too quick.

I think it the 6MT had it standard, and the sport package had them also. As for body differences there were none.

The bugs that the 03's mostly had were CD changer problems and other things I'm not aware of because I have an '07

 

only 03-04 6MT's have brembos, and there are no differences in the body for these two years

 

i like the look of your Bimmer... look for an 05+ newer updated interior...

 

i wish i could buy an 05 or newer but all i have to work with is however much i sell my car for which i assume will be around 14 and i have about 7-8 in mods which i guess will go with the car...oh well...is the g35 reliable? No parts that need to be replaced frequently?

Brembos suck... cost to much to maintenance and they cover your wheels in brake dust... but you want an automatic so this post is useless..

 

oh **** man whats up man...yea man i wanted one back when i talked to u but then i fell in love with my car all over again but now i have nothing left to do to it so its time to move on....last i heard was you traded your g in for a pickup? looking at your sig i guess thats what you did do haha man your g was so sick...season is going pretty well actually got ressi 29 for saturday so going to head out..how about you? are you enjoying hunting or do you still hate it? Rudso never hits me up anymore...the guy is becoming a great hunter now
