Aero package confusion

I don't get it. How come if I look at the price for the "Aero Kit with spoiler - 4 piece" it costs $1190, but if I use the "Aero Kit without spoiler - 3 piece" and the "Aero Package" it is only $1150. I don't care about the small money savings, but I want to make sure they are the same thing. THANKS!

Re: Aero package confusion

R01 - $550 - rear spoiler, underbody diffusers
V92 - $1190 - 4piece kit (rear spoiler, lip spoiler, f/r splashguards)
V93 - $600 - 3piece kit (lip spoiler, f/r splashguards)

If you want them all, get the R01 combined with the V93. The V92 almost gives you all except the underbody diffusers. Prices of packages compared to individual parts combined will almost always be cheaper. Like if you subtract V93 from V92, the part difference is only the spoiler amounting to their difference of $590. But you'll see that this price is higher than the complete R01 Aeropackage. Confusing?

Re: Aero package confusion

I went the route of just ordering the front lip and splash guards separately. Curse me, but I don't like spoilers in general so i didn't want the full package. The diffusers are really only needed if you intend to do some serious high speed driving which at this point I'm steering towards autoX if I can find out some local NC clubs.....and get my car.

Bottom line is now you can order components from the dealers whereas before you had to pretty much order the full kit. I too was confused about the pricing issue but after working it out with Grubbs I got the lip and splash guards installed for $600 minus VPP discount (or will get it). Rather than spending double to get only the cheap plastic diffusers it made sense to just order components!!

Good luck!! I know I went round and round on it for awhile.

Re: Aero package confusion

According to infiniti website, the V92 comes with underbody difussers, but I just noticed that it also comes with (2)underbody guards
