Maintanence Services At Nissan

Any of you normally get your services done at Nissan instead of Infiniti? I was thinking about just doing it at Nissan since it's just next to my work and price will probably be cheaper, this will save me some trouble.

My concern is will they use the exact same part as Infiniti, and will they be knowledged about our cars? Though it's all Nissan but not their usual models.

I did my 30K at Nissan, and many others here do the same.

Had been piece mealing my 30K service a few weeks ago. I did my own cabin air filter and regular air filter. I had the differential drained and filled (about 91 bucks) at Infiniti and while there they matched a coupon from Nissan for a 26 buck oil change instead of the standard 42.00 they charge at Infiniti.

They would not bite on a price match for the transmission (5-AT) service. Nissan across the street was 199.00 and Infiniti was about 245.00. I went to Nissan for that as I know the dealership and the techs cause I own a Murano and had a 3.5 Altima for 5 years before getting the coupe.

Only draw back is sitting there and waiting as opposed to a loaner car.

If we all lived in Japan, this would not be a question as nothing there is branded Infiniti, it's all Nissan.

I go to nissan and have not had any problems. There cool with calling the Infinity tech line too just to make sure they don't miss anything.

So I will be getting the exact same parts and service as I would do at Infiniti?

I just called Nissan to see how much they would charge to change the transmission fluid, rear differential fluid, and in-cabin filter. The guy quoted me $498. LOL.

You can do the cabin air filter yourself. It cost me 12.28 at Advance Auto Parts. I asked Infiniti how much I saved doing it myself? He said about 100 bucks.

Price out the tranny fluid by itself. Mine was 199. See if that is in the same ballpark.

I think Infiniti gets over 800 big ones for the 30K service. Uh....I don't think so! My oil 26 bucks, Cabin filter 12 bucks, guess about 10 bucks for the air filter, 91 bucks for differential and 199 for tranny equal 340 bucks.

I will use the local Nissan dealer at some point I'm sure. They are close by the Infiniti dealer and probably cheaper. But I like my dealer so far.

I do maintenance myself. I was just curious to see how much they charge. I need to buy the parts.

You can get your G serviced any where you want...

The advantage of bringing it to an INFINITI Dealer...

They automaticaly search for Recalls that apply to the vehicle...

Anything done at an INFINITI dealer can be seen by any INFINITI dealer...

I just got my 60K service done (yesterday) at Performance Nissan for $400 compared to Parkway Infiniti who charges $695. But aHero4Eternity (administrator on this site) burst my bubble and told me you can even get your 30K, 60K, & 90K service done for cheaper ($299.00) at West Covina Nissan So I would take my ride over there to save some $$$ That's where I will be going for my 90K service, hopefully it will still be around the same price

Nissan all the way for me. All my recall info came from here (g35driver.com) Orlando Infiniti don't tell you JACK. That's one of the reason I stop going there.

I did my 30k at West Covina Nissan for $300 vs Cerritos Infiniti for $450. Only draw back is Nissan can't/won't do any warranty work. Well that and you drive a crappy Neon loaner vs a G35 sedan.
