congrats! How do you like it so far? I just picked mine up about 2 weeks ago and absolutely love it! Definitely take some pictures when you get a chance.

pic of my very first mod....clear corners! n yes..i did em myself i got the piaa white bulbs but they dont seem to perfectly match each other in color (as you can see in the pics). do you guys think this is a big deal? basically...should i go through the trouble of returning them n all that nonsense?



oh n i know there are other posts about it but can someone give me a general idea as to how the lights in the clearance strip work?? sorry for my "newbieness"...thanks!!

In '06+ models, they don't...add that to your mod list - reverse retrofit...

They aren't to hard to get to, but you can remove in the inner fender shroud and reach under there to get the bulb. They have threads on bulbs for it, I forget exactly what I used to replace mine with, also people have used ccfl strips for a bright white line but that's a little more time consuming.

Congrats on the purchase. I wouldn't worry about the bulbs in the clear corners, they look fine.

The clear corners is probably the closest you can get to the headlights as possible. I wouldn't return it. I am in a similar situation with my multi-colored headlights.

You have an '06 so you do not have a clearance strip light. The clearance strip aka known as the city light is now located in the lower housing. You would need to mod that yourself or pay someone to put in the clearance strip.
