Re: G35 6MT

Kor Gurl,

I would say shop around a bit unless you don't currently have a car and need it NOW. I would look at dealerships outside of the Philly area as well so you can get the car you want for the price you want. I personally used email to contact the dealerships and got good results. You need to let them know that you are a serious buyer and let them know that you are looking elsewhere and know alot about the car and what it's worth. I've seen so many posts about people saying that you can ONLY get it at MSRP and that's just plain BS. Those are from people who just got ripped off and can't stand other people getting a deal.

Good tips:
-Search outside your metro area too. Use infiniti's website and extend the search radius. I think it's worth a good drive to save some $$$ and get the car you want.
-Email the dealerships with the specs and options you want with a DEADLINE. Play off the dealerships against each other and MAKE SURE they have the car on their lot by checking their inventory through infinit's website.
-Don't settle for what they got on the lot. Dealerships always wanna dump [censored] to people too desperate for a car that I personally think they will later regret.
-Get wheel locks in the deal
-I personally would not suggest the pin stripes or mudguards, but that's to your taste.
-Before finalizing the order, get their financing quote and I would suggest getting car financing on your own as well in case infini's rate sucks.
-I don't like the spoiler either, but I got the aero package because of the underbody diffusers which always sounds cool when you tell people about your car. :P

P.S. If you're hot, PM me.

Good luck!

Re: G35 6MT

I purchased my 6mt back in June of last year. Was the first around to have a white 6MT. Now I see them everywhere. It used to be that I just see non MT's but lately I see every color everywhere... all 6MT's. I mean I love seeing them and I seem to stare at mines all the time and never get tired of doing it for some reason but damn too much of a good thing aint always good . Oh well, atleast mines does stand out.. I think. Oh, the thing about MSRP.. I paid MSRP but thats because I bought it when it was practically brand new and you had to order it. I'm pretty sure now you can get a good deal on one and not have to pay for MSRP. Why don't you try the VPP deal that Grubbs has for Fresh Alloy members?

Re: G35 6MT

An-Nyung fellow sister~(^_-)

First of all good decision to go with 6MT G35 coupe.
You won't regret it...

I think getting anything under MSRP is a good deal on 6MT since out of around 15k total G35C made for US only about 15% is 6MT....

The car look good without the rear spoiler but IMO Aero-pkg will make the car fuller and a bit better looking.

I got my car @ MSPR 6MT total price inlcuding tax = $39.9k
Well happy hunting for your baby~

Re: G35 6MT

Correction on the numbers according to Bondg35c:
12k Coupe in 2003 production for US, but demand upped production to about 29.5k sold~ (probably about 20% is 6MT)

Siiing,
Carbon fiber hood is very audacious on Ivory Pearl...
Looks better I imagined.
Stillen Front Lip looks really great~ Much better than OEM Front lip.

Re: G35 6MT

I realize that I have a month or so to get the car I want, so I have some time. I am going back and forth between 2 dealers and I can get the Coupe DG, premium package, no spoiler (don't like them) and get is for lower than $33552. Still working on deals and seeing what I can get. I am going to lease the car as I do not want to buy it. Better for me now and where I am in life. Thank you everyone for all your advice.

Re: G35 6MT

Well, I got my DG G35 Coupe and I pick it up on Monday. I got them to $33552 and they had the one I wanted exactly. I got the premium pkg - no splash guards nor spoiler. He threw in the trunk mat and I am getting the windows tinted. I am so excited, I can't wait!! It is a beautiful car and well worth it.
