I found advice on another forum. I used a heat gun...I could have used a hair dryer. I heated it up for about 2 minutes and then it peeled off. The rest of the advice also worked which was to use WD-40 on the glue. It worked great but I was skeptical. I saw another post where someone used Goo-Gone and they had a stain where it ran down the paint. After that I just hit the area with some wax and it looks great.
