Infiniti F'ed my car up...

For the past 2 months, I've been dealing with Jim Coleman Infiniti to resolve my gas guage problem (not reading correctly) resolve my passenger window problem (wont go up on auto click), and resolve my drivers seat moving forward and backwards by itself!. First they tried installing a new guage and resetting the window motor. Both attempted solutions did not work. They said they could'nt replicate the seat issue. I let it go. I took it back in for fuel sending units and window switches and continued to complain about my seat moving by itself. They replaced the seat motor, fuel sending units (left & right) and replaced the drivers side window controller. Result: The seat is fixed. The window continues with the same problem. And the fuel sending units is another catastrophe of its own! When I picked up my car last friday 12.21.07, I had a little bit of gas, but enough for the day. Saturday I filled my tank and when I got back in my car, I smelled gas. I figured that I had stepped in a bit of gas and thats what the odor was from. When I got back in my car, the smell of fuel was overwhelming! Thats when I knew I had a much bigger problem. I drove the car home and since it was the holiday weekend, I had to wait until monday to tow the car in to Infiniti. Well, Sunday morning I went outside and noticed that my car had leaked fuel on my driveway!!!

Now I really didn't feel safe driving the car. I went to Infiniti on Monday AM and spoke to the general manager. He seemed apologetic (sp?) and said that they would go out of their way to handle the situation. Had the car towed in on 12.26.07 It's 12.28.07 and I havent heard from them yet. Im just wondering what can I do to make sure that I get taken care of about all of this?

Here are the pics of the car leaking fuel in my driveway...

Did the dealer blame your troubles on your aftermarket wheel mods??? lol

Seems like dealers/service depts. love to blame stock problems with aftermarket mods no matter how unrelated the mod maybe.....

I really hope your issues get resolved brother...

The lip touched the bed of the truck but it didnt do any damage. If the lip were fiberglass, it would have done some real damage to it.

The dealer has never mentioned my mods for any reasons... In the 3 years that I have been going there, I have never had a problem. I guess when it rains, it pours.

Is this related at all to the 03-04 fuel line recall?, Did they do the recall and screw up, or mabe it needs to be done?

Okay, I re-read your post, it is the sending unit, not the lines, my bad. Also be glad the car was outside, not in the garage, or it could have gone BOOM!

Wow, that's a big **** leak. Damn. Hope everything works out for you. I know there was a recall with something to do with the gas tank, was that done on your car? The dealer did mine and it took like a couple hours.
