6MT drivers could probrably care less about this thread, but an interesting study for 5AT drivers none-the-less.
Both of us were 5AT.. Unless he lied and also took off his Brembos which is highly unlikely LOL.

Interesting results as I got to see what difference my mods made.
Off the line- I pull imediately by 1/4 of a car then remain steady through 3000 RPM where I begin to pull again. At the end of 1st gear woah I pull hard. My rear bumper is in front of his car by just a little (maybe 1 foot)
Into 2nd gear I am pulling ever so slightly. At the end of second gear I think that I added 5 or 7 feet to my lead. Into 3rd gear I pull strongly again.

I shortly cut it off so as not to exceed the speed limit by too much. He runs up on me then gives me a thumbs up. He pulls into a parking lot at a store where I am too headed.

As I was getting out he came up to me and talked. He asked me if I was modded. I told him yes and told him what I had. He was not modded. He told me that he also drove in Drive. I told him I drove in MM mode. (Then it clicked with me: perhaps that was why I pulled so hard during and after shifts) An interesting result I thought. After I told him my mods and how much they cost, he said that he was going to look into it. I told him to come to this site and contact Gorde. He was unaware of this site.

oh and both of us had VDC turned on (I forgot to turn mine off. He was just unaware that the car was quicker with it off..

Yes ive had a battle with another 5AT....i had only z tube at that time..he was stock..both MM mode....i beat him because i launched much better and took him right off the line....otherwise....neck and neck....
