Infinity factory warranty

Will aftermarket springs such as eibach or tein void the factory warranty?

A freaking air freshener would void the warranty. jk Every dealership is different. Some will give you the boot while others will work with you. Your best bet is talk to the members in your regional section and ask which dealership is the best for warranty work.

i don't understand what you mean here. first of all, magnuson-moss warranty legislation states that a warranty cannot be voided unless the modificaiton done by the owner/purchaser is the cause of the part failure. if he replaces stock springs with shorter springs, absolutely no dealer will warranty the shock and struts. it doesn't matter what dealership he goes to.

I am looking at a 2004 G Coupe with 36,000 miles. The online listing says that the warranty is existing, but when I called, the guy told me there was no remaining warranty. I am not sure if he was confused or if we weren't on the same page. What is Infiniti's factory warranty? Should this vehicle still have warranty? Thanks!

Smokey, the factory warranty is 60k miles OR 4 years, whichever comes first, so if it was bought in early 2004, the 4 years are over. However, it should still be under the powertrain warranty that goes up to 75K miles/6 years if I'm not mistaken. Check with your dealer if you can get extended warranty upto 100K miles/3 years, it usually costs between $1800-2400.
Good luck

Well, I just bought a new G35X and called a dealer, not the dealer I bought from, to inquire about the 7 year, 100K mile warranty. I was told that I had to purchase the 7 year, 100K mile warranty before I closed on the deal. Now that I took the car off the lot, the longest warranty I can buy is the 6 year, 82K mile warranty, for roughly $1900.

Is that true?

Oops just noticed that I posted in the Coupe forum.. Sorry....

i sell extended warranties in my line of work.. I work for a credit union... it all depends on the co you're buying your extended warranty from and how many miles you have on your car as well as year.
