Sweet, but where is Infiniti getting 280 hp? If you've done all these mods and you're getting 253...excuse my ignorance.

Isnt the 280 flywheel hp and 250 or so the RW hp? You lose some through the drivetrain

That is AWESOME! I'd be interested in doing a similar setup. If you don't mind me asking, how much did all this cost you, in total?

253 is at the wheels. Stock is somewhere in the high 230s. He's probably pushing one or two hp under 300 at the crank. Give or take.

Exhaust is about $700
Cats are about $550
Pop-Charger is $100
Z-tube used from a friend $30

So probably about $1400. I didn't install these mods at once, rather got each one a few months after another. My main purpose is to establish the best combo for F/I.

http://www.sfzcc.com/Events/2004/dynoday03/

That has a chart showing what the different cars did. This will give you a better sense of what my mods did for the car, as it allows you to compare to cars that were on the same machine/weather conditions. Different dyno's can give different figures, as well as weather conditions.

I heard that after doing that many airflow mods like you have, that you have to recheck and change your A/F ratio. My question is, did you do this by resetting your ecu, reprogramming, or nothing at all.

I reset the ECU after installing the cats. About 1k later I dyno'd. The tech's said my A/F ratio was near perfect.

Did you reset using the crazy stopwatch method or just unplug the battery leads?

Re: Vids of my Mods(Borla, R/T, JWT, Z-tube)

This is the exact setup I would like to install on my coupe (don't even have the coupe yet, but i DO have a big Excel spreadsheet with all the mods I wanna do.... i may be jumping the gun a little bit)

First of all, your setup sounds absolutely perfect... its just MEAN!

My only concern is that, when cruising on the highway (i'm usually 65-80mph on the highway when i drive) the 5AT will make the exhaust note get annoying to listen to after a while

(i assume your 6MT would be a little quieter on the highway because of the ratio in 6th)...

What are your feelings on the sound at cruising speed?

Re: Vids of my Mods(Borla, R/T, JWT, Z-tube)

I used the stopwatch method. It isn't all that bad. You just to kinda know the process before you do it. And make sure the doors are closed! (I tried to do it at night for like 30 minutes with my drivers door open, not thinking it would make a difference. Well 30 frusturating minutes went by and I gave up. Next morning before I left, I tried one more time with my door closed and got it in 1 try. Oh well :P)

Thanks for the compliments, SI. It sounds incredible in person, kinda hard to capture on video. Anyway, On the highway it isn't bad at all at crusing. If you have it on cruise control at like 80, the sound change can barely be noticed. But if you give it some gas, the change is more apparent.

Overall I think you'll enjoy it...I know I'm loving it.
