What I would do is take it to another shop and get another quote, something like a dealer, if you go to the shop that the insurance recommend they may try to repair it.

Just take it to a dealership body shop so you can see if the repair will cost more.

F*ck that, I'd total it out.

If it's considered totalled to the insurance but you choose to keep it, your car will be a salvaged title after you repair it. Why does that matter? I don't care how much you pay for insurance, if you have a salvaged title, they will only pay for liability.

If they don't want to total it out, if there's any kind of frame damage, I would use that to argue with them to toal the car. Remind them that by putting you back into an automobile with a damged frame, they are liable if anything bad happens.

If it's a good shop, you'll be fine. Parts are expensive these days. I hit a mailbox with my 06 eclipse 2 years ago and it cost me 12G's to fix. When it was done (4 months later) the work was perfect (and I'm VERY ****) and i had a lifetime warranty.

Wink Got My Car BaCk

I got My car back on Thursday March 6th..
the paint job came out nice (ill take pictures)
looks even better then when i bought it...

anyways the first thing i had them fix was the emblem in the back it was to high..
when i turned the car on the AIR BAG SUPLEMENT light came on.
they told me that its because when they plugged everything back in
just needs to be reset, so i went over to the mechanic he connected a device to the car and reset the thing and the light came off.

so that was fixed..
that night when i went to work when i was going back home the rear glass defroster is not working.. and i noticed the heated seats were not so hot.

so i took over to them on friday and i went back later on friday and they could not find out whats wrong... so they wanted me to drive to manhattan so they can check it out. i was like??? this was working before it came here...
i was bugging out on them and then after a minute they were gonna drive my car on Monday over to infinti of manhattan and get it fixed..
i was like fine whatever, so i got the car back today tuesday march 11th.
the defroster is working.. and they told me something about the seats

they take about 10 minute sot heat up...
i remember the seats used to heat up real quick what you guys think?

the rear defroster button is like hanging off how do i take that button out i tried pulling it out.. ima take a picture.

thanks guys
