Anyone have this experience?

I have the 06 G 6MT with sport package. There is a plaza that the entrance is a pretty high hill bumper. I try to drive with a very big angel. While driving up the plaza. I hear a small scratch sound from the car. But I am sure that sound is not a scratch from the body or bumper. It's probably from the transmission. What I am guessing is that the hill is too high and with this angel that makes the car only touching ground with 2 or 3 wheels. And also I am stepping half gas and half clutch. And that probably making the differential not as usual. Any one has experience on this or any comment?

Thanks.

It sounds like you just bottomed out… it happens to me quite often… are you on stock suspension?

I don't know what the piece is called and it really serves no purpose. It's a black plastic piece located near the front, between the two front wheels. IMO...it serves as a scratch indicator.

wouldnt it sound more crushing or dragging if he was bottoming out.. and i would think he would know if he was bottoming out or not.. I had a stick wedged in my rear end that was making a weird noise at real low speed for bout 2 weeks... just try to look under car to see if maybe it could be something dumb like mine was

The center of my car rubs on any driveway that has an apex, no matter what I do. I have to be careful where I go, because if the apex is too high I WILL get stuck.
