Cool Some thoughts on 06Coupe

I dont think I will ever get sick of driving my 06Coupe sport package with 19s. Here are my reasons:

1. I am making any excuse to take my car out for a spin. Even when the weather is bad.
2. I am truely satisfied with the performance, style, and price.
3. Its hard for me not to push this car. I find myself drive 90-100mph and dont even realize it. Its certainly not a car to be babied. Its got the torque, why not exploit it.
4. Chicks diggit. Compliments all the time!

With the pluses, come the negatives of course.

1. Soft paint on the bumper. Its that bad!!! Rock chips galore!
2. Dont expect to save on gas $.
3. $700 to replace the windshield with OEM windshield. Expensive!
4. Recall on OEM headlights, not mandatory though.

here is a solution to the oem glass...replace it with aftermarket glass! should only cost 250 installed. why do you want oem glass?? as long as its PPG or (i forget the other brand) you will be fine. you're not driving a ferrari

Aftermarket glass is for lack of a better word, lesser quality and will crack that much easier. I live in Calgary, Canada, and there are lots of sand and rocks on these streets in the winter.

what makes you think its lesser quality? oem glass is made by one of two manuf. ppg or (as i stated above, i cant remember the other). same glass, just bought "aftermarket". i changed to aftermarket and its help up better than the oem glass. just a suggestion.

Rock chips and cracks, lotsa rocks on the roads here in Canada. They litter the roads with salt and rocks for safety.

I'll have to do some more research on the windsheild aftermarket product! Perhaps your correct!

I guess your #3 is all relative. I came from an E39 BMW 540i 6speed so you can about imagine why I feel its all relative
