Looks awsome on pearl white...

The pearl white coupe is impressive to me...the day I came to the dealership of infiniti, I saw the white coupe w/ six speeds..is awsome and it is their first one at the delearship..sales guys are came out and discuss...seems to be good by the body color contrast.. especially w/ the brembo~~ looks luxury and sporty, with bodykit will be much more better......agreed?? The minor thing is easily get dirty with this kind of color...raining o... Anyway, anyone seen this before? comments??

White is the kind of car that will look clean all the time .. it will only look dirty with mud on it...

Black will show everything .. water marks.. rain spots... etc..

DG or silverstone will also stay fairly clean..
essentially the brighter or whiter the car ..... the less marks and dirt is seen because the overall brightness of the color which seemingly tends to hide it.

White was my first choice .. then Silverstone .. and I ended up with black... I dont know..
Quite the trial tryin to figure that one out.

Good luck

Haha, Dallycurtis I went through the exact same color evolution you did. Originally I wanted white, then silver, then finally decided on black. It's a bitch to keep clean but it's just dead sexy when it is.

White is a color you need to see in person with the coupe. I wouldn't have thought it'd look good, but it really does. Of course, like the others here, I went with black, but after test driving a white one that color went up to my second choice (tied with DG). Something about it just stands out. I don't like it so much on the Sedan though.

The only color I don't like on this car is the red. Or the silver, but that's because there's already so much silver on the road and the DG and DP seem much richer, not because the silver itself looks bad.

Why did they stop offering that darker blue color?

White is drop dead. I see it every day and never get tired of it. Originally wanted Graphite or Platinum and saw all three with all interiors. White on willow is stunning...

I have to agree. My wife didn't want a white car though especially since the Korean neighbors have only owned white cars in the past 15 years. They've had several cars too. They are like, "I'll take anything as long as it's white". I wonder if white has some sort of cultural meaning to them?

Also.. Please let me know how the upkeep is on the willow interior? I had a light gray leather interior in a car and it was a nightmare to keep clean.

When I was shopping around, I went into the Lexus dealer to take a drive last spring. Two identical GSs were on the lot. One in white and one in silver. To my surprise, the silver showed more rain spots than the white. I asked, they had both been washed previously the same day and hadn't been moved.
I had always thought that silver was the best at hiding this kind of thing before this.

White is definitely the most forgiving color for not showing the dirt. Black is the worst of course. Any light color is good, but white is the best for not showing dirt.

Not in the instance of rain spots ..
only cause they are essentially white themselves ...

Or I am colorblind and need glasses OR I finally have to lay off the booze.

Either way... White is right and black is Back !!!!

Being Korean, I don't know of any cultural significance, other than the general asian cultural significance: white = death/mourning. Hence, most asians wear white to funerals (instead of black as westerners usually do).

Re: Looks awsome on pearl white...

Guys, I think some cars look awesome in white and some don't. I think it depends on it's trims. I already have a white Sequoia and would rather buy the coupe in a different color. But that pearl white looks so classy, I might end up with two white cars. I love that pearl white Nissan used on the Maxima as well. They look unmatched when they are really clean.
