Re: 1/4 mile times?
You really have to look at the individual track and conditions.
Atmospheric pressure can play a big part in the times you get, for instance:
on 3/06/04 - Commerce, GA Elevation approx. 750' MSL
best time was 14.390 at 97.24 mph
on 3/14/04 - Reynolds, GA Elevation approx. 450' MSL
best time was 14.033 at 99.74 mph
This was just a little over a week apart with the same car setup, acually the reynolds run I had about a 1/4 tank more gas.
I had four runs on each track that were very close to the numbers above, so it wasn't a fluke run to produce those numbers.
I was reading on a 350Z forum that a guy in Kentucky ran a best of 14.4 while a guy in Orlando Florida ran a best 13.8. The Florida guy's response to the Kentuckian, "Learn to Drive" What an A$$. I wonder what the elevation difference was there.
Anyway, my $0.02

W NOS (ZEX 155hp shot) 12.60@115mph 2.0 - 60ft
before anyone says that I'm about to blow my engine, read and learn about NOS. I've been using NOS for the past 6 years and since September on my G without any problems so far, I hope that doesn't change!
<hr></blockquote>
Friendly reminder: Zex does not spray NOS. Zex and NOS are brand names for nitrous oxide systems. Both spray N2O.
Bonus tip for Fast and Furious fans: "NOS" is pronounced "N.O.S." Not like "naws." The movie screwed that up (among other things).

Re: 1/4 mile times?
iLLG,
You're busted dude - you're off the reservation!!! LOL. I am about to prove the sedan, an AT one at that, can be the s*&* ! Just wait, all you AT -haters out there.,.. j/k
Seriosuly now, why don't we all make a habit of doing an SAE correction for our timeslips before posting. The best one that I have found so far is the one http://www.smokemup.com/auto_math/corr_dew_point.php. You DO need to sign up by registering but it is a truly good tool. It adjusts for temp/elevation/humidity, etc. Then we can really compare numbers without 5 lines of disclaimers attached to them.
