Third Brake Light ... question.

If your G35 comes with an LED on the spoiler is there still a 3rd brake light in the window?

Re: Third Brake Light ... question.

Nope. It is either excluded if you order the aero package, or the dealership will remove it if you have the spoiler installed. They will allow you to keep the 3rd brake light.

Premium Package
Tire/Wheel Package
K&N Filter, Z-Tube, EGK

Re: Third Brake Light ... question.

what does the rear deck look like with the factory deleted 3rd brake light. Is a trim piece used over the holes left by the brake light or is it a whole new rear deck cover that is smooth. I removed my 3rd light and would like to get a factory cover if it is available.

Re: Third Brake Light ... question.

I had the dealer install my spoiler and they left the brake light that is inside the car remain untouched, leaving me with 4 brake lights. I simply pulled it out and disconnected the wire, but put the unit back in, even though it would have no use.

Ya, I'm curious. Is the rear deck a replacement or do they patch it up?

Actually, I had the spolier added and all they did was disconnected the window light and connect the spoiler...my tint is too dark to see the light in the rear window. In SoCal, it's illegal to have more than 3 brake lights in the rear of the vehicle.

2 G or NOT 2 G, there is no question!

Re: Third Brake Light ... question.

when i got mine, the car already had the 4 pc aero kit on it and the 3rd brake light was still there but it was disconnected. when i got my car tinted i took it out so the tinter could tint the whole window then i just put it back in when i got the car back.

Re: Third Brake Light ... question.

My coupe came with the "factory installed" Aero package. There is no light on the back deck, no holes and no plate. Hope this clears the confusion.
