squeaking brakes on '04 G35 6MT

I test drove the G35 coupe 6MT twice. Everything was great but both times, when pulling back into the dealer, the brakes started sqeaking. Both cars had around 100-200 miles.

The sales rep said it had to do with ABS adjusting to different drivers.

Anybody else had similar experiences? Cause for concern?

Re: squeaking brakes on '04 G35 6MT

My experience & opinion is yes. My '03.5 coupe w/Brembo brakes squeeked when car was new & the brakes are cold with little brake pedal pressure. This pretty much when away (few weeks) after the pads had been seated with use. The pads produce high volume of brake dust. Cause of squeeking? Probably. I keep the calibers clean (cold) when washing car, this seems to help. Your sales rep is giving you BS with his response. No cause of concern, just a little hassle to keep wheels & calibers clean. Hope this helps.

mine squeak after washing the car. If you get water on the discs, you'll notice a thin layer of rust form immediately after they dry. The dealer washes the cars in the lots often to show the cars so im sure they have a little rust on them too.
