Thanks.

V35 with NISMO Rays on Car

Thinking about it, stock springs right now, it doesn't need much - half inch to inch at most. Suffers a little bit of +1 look but not so bad as other cars where I've done +1 wheels.

Just did F/R strut tower braces, new sways, stock springs are feeling a little soft now. '04 had mild rear spring rate, not as stiff as my '03 Z.

Have to figure out what I want to put on it, wasn't planning anything right away, now thinking sooner than later, why not, ftw

No, I did not pay $600/wheel for them, either, I bought them new in the boxes from a dealer, $1300 shipped set of 4.

What's out there that outperforms that, for <= $325/wheel? No one ever said pay full list price for NISMO
Well, you can get Work Emotion CR KAI for $325, and those weigh 18 pounds. These particular wheels are pressure cast rather than forged, but you are comparing discounted price to retail price.

For $600 retail you can get a bunch of different Work wheels that weigh in the 18-21 pound range. IIRC, the stock 18's are 25 or 26 pounds. But than again, many consider Work and Volk to be in the same Tier.

halfway there, great suggestion - they really work with the car and the color, don't miss the orange ones:

The lettering I can take or leave, sometimes I've tempted to fully de-badge it, too many fools who don't know an R32 Skyline from a V35 "wanna race" for whatever reason, it gets old.

"Real" NISMO CPV35 parts cost a fortune and take forever to ship, but at least you can see what's out there:

The front, side, and rear parts must be available stateside somewhere for a lot less if it's the CPV35 NISMO look you're going for.

I was just pointing out the "discounted" price because there was (or is) a serious deal out there to be had on some pretty good wheels. Show me Volks or Work wheels new in the box for similar discount, then we can compare discounted price to discounted price?

Volk, Work, Rays I put in the same class. From the miles I've already put on these, they have already seen a few knocks w/o any issue - they seem strong as hell for such a low profile 19" setup.

Forged vs. pressure cast is pretty close, splitting hairs. But, I've always loved RAYS wheels, what can I say...
