Pedal vibration normal?

Hope I explain this clearly. When I press on the gas pedal I feel vibration which correlates to the RPM's. Thus, the higher the RPM's the greater the vibration on the gas pedal. I'm not talking about crazy vibrations, but I don't remember if I used to feel any vibration or feedback from the pedal before I put in a Z-tube/JWT pop charger.

If I remember, I never "felt" with my foot, the engine working when I press the gas, I kind of remember it being very smooth throughout.

Am I crazy? or is it normal to feel this type of vibration or feedback? Thanks.

Re: Pedal vibration normal?

I get a variety of feedback and vibrations thru the gas pedal. It's not objectionable, and I think it's quite normal.

I can actually feel my wipers throught the pedals. First time I felt it, I thought the car was shuddering, but quickly realized where it was coming from. Once the wipers "broke in" the feedback becam less noticable.

Re: Pedal vibration normal?

Doesn't the G have a fancy throttle-by-wire setup? In other words, sensor on the pedal reads throttle pedal position, transmits electrically to the CPU which then controls all sorts of adjustments including airflow. If true (and I think it is), then unlike other cars there's no direct mechanical link between engine and pedal. Don't know what else the vibration might be.
