Cons on 06 Coupe

Driver review on 06C 5AT- sport package after 7 months of ownership and 15,000 kms.

Cons:
1. Weak paint on bumper and probably the whole car. The 3M tape on the hood has helped out dramatically. Roads here in Calgary are sanded heavily. Does Nissan acknowlege this? Are they doing anything to improve this on there new models? This must be a big big issue with their entire fleet!

2. If you drop anything between your drivers seat and the middle console( right armrest) dont expect to fetch it easily.Ive pulled over on the shoulder as my keys drop there once.

3. Dipstick. Incredibly difficult to check your oil. How is this VQ engine award winning???

4. Automatic Seats for rear passenger entry/exit is COMPLETELY useless. Too slow for this to be any useful.

Even with these cons, I still love this car.

But I thought you were driving... Don't you drive with your key in the ignition like everybody else?

To answer your question:

The 06C came with keyless entry and keyless start.

Hey i just bout one too and love it! as for the cons!

1. yeah that paint is hell, i very seldom drive it due to that and mines is OB.

2. heard about the land of no return between the seats.

3. that dip stick is just that a dip stick! i thought i was breaking something trying to get it out and once i got it out iwas like WTF! leave it for the dealer!

4. as for the automatic seats; first and foremost don't even think about getting back there, its a freaking sports car so those seat are nonfunctional and just for insurance purposes plus luxury takes its time patience is a virtue!

My 06 didn't come with keys, and I always keep them in my pants pocket.

The seats are perfect for my 2 year old. I once rode with 4 grown men in my car though, with everyone being 6' - 6'3". I like the way that rear seats are made in a reclining position, so it creates a little more room.

The only problem i have with the seatbelt is the issue with it not retracting after I get out of the car. I end up slamming the door on part of the belt all the time!

i hate the stock blose system, the interior rattles, crappy blind spots, DIPSTICK, and the automatic seats kinda suck. The heated seats could be hotter, and warm up quicker as well.
