Rear Plate Mount Broken

So my brother borrowed my car and took it to a quicky car wash this past weekend. I guess the car wash rear brush was powerful enough to almost rip off my rear plate. It broke a corner of my bumper where the plate attaches. Now my plate is only attached with 1 screw because the part of the bumper that allows you to screw the plate to the bumper is missing. Does this make sense?

Anyway, does anyone have anny suggestions as to what I can do? I thought about repositionig and redrilling the plate but that would make it lower and a very noticeable gap where plate originlly was.

redrill the plate in the middle of the plate or drill the plate in its lower positions and also on the bumper.
