9,000 miles....9,000 problems...help

This car has been giving me nothing but headaches as of late. I scheduled my latest service at 8,900 miles, but couldn't bring it in because I finally recieved my deductible and body work is being done on tuesday. I told them about my sun roof lining, the new clarion/bose changer was ordered, i told them about the MPG, but now I have three other problems that I am worried about.

1. When I hit the breaks my car sounds like an airplane applying its brakes after landing. Like a combination of a zoom and a swoosh.

2. The gear changing in auto mode is rough, especially drive into reverse. I mean the whole car jerks.

3. There is a clicking noise coming from the car while it is in idle. Can't tell from where exactly. Sounds like under maybe.

yeah, mr E is right. there have been a few people complaining of early brake wear (i think under 5k miles) and noise. they took it in and the dealer replaced the rears with some new brake kit. for some, the problem went away. for others, it came back after a few thousand more miles. but since the brake warranty has come out, i wonder if there is still a problem post-replacement.

Not by design. You should change your rotors if you let your brakes go so long that the rivets shaved some really nice canals into them, and they are seen as uncoverable by a reputable and expensive brake job shop. So if you want to change your rotors, let those pads go an extra 10k miles past their expiration date, then pay the gobs of money and get them changed!

Good times on letting the rivets wear down into the rotors!
