Does anyone know the thread pattern for the stock oil pressure sensor? I am trying to fit up a T adapter so i can put in an oil pressure gauge...like this:


any help is appreciated!

the upper pan is 1/8" british pipe thread.

i wouldnt mess with that. overtighten it a hair and you have a huge mess and a f'n ton of labor to replace that upper pan.

use a sandwich plate.

 

ok... i guess ill go for that, can you recommend me one? cheap is nice, but dependable is more important... keep in mind my sender is 1/8"-27NPT

I hate how our cars(most modern cars actually) are soo lacking in the auxilliary gauge department. I have friends who have piece-of-crap Camaros from the late 80's that have both OEM voltage gauges as well as oil pressure gauges.... yet our modern vehicles have nothing more than an idiot light for each of those.
