Re: Removing Rear Seats in Coupe

well i ran a search but couldnt find the info, but what you need to do is reach in bout a foot from the wall on the frontside of the s3eat and pull like hell to release the clips. there is one on each side. when i took mine out i thought i might break it cause i was pullin so hard when they finally release, but they didnt break. once you have that out you can pull the seat out uncovering the 2 bolts that hold the back of the seat on. you will need to remove those and the release the seat like you were goin to fold it down and then the back will come out. hope that helps
ill see if i cant find the thread withthe instructions in it.

by the way, pull STRAIGHT UP, as if you were pulling towards the roof.

Just in case you couldn't tell from SFL's post

Follow this link. The DIY instructions refer to removing the rear side panels, but you must remove the back seat to get to it.

PS
Pull hard as HELL straight up to disengage the two clips. Use the photo to give you an idea where the clips are. Good luck.
