3 weeks of ownership

Hey what yah know I have a 2006 Silver AT.

Comming from a 94 Taurus SHO where some things didn't work this car is nice.

Just got a basic G35 no bells or electronic whistles. Just a sun roof and a Spoiler on the back.

Power is smooth.

The ride is a little stiffer than my old sedan but thats to be expected
Short wheel base means stiffer car.
But not as stiff as the 350Z.

Came with a factory stereo and I am more than happy with it.
I had so many freinds spend small fortunes on hooking up thier cars with so much power, seriously it's not worth that cash. I would rather spend it on perfomance upgrades. Stereos draw to much attention and sometimes the wrong attention.

I have already started down the mod path
Got a Z-pop charger kit and replaced the front grill with that nice chrome horizontal lines looking one. eBay special.

Looking at the plenum spacer kit next.

Small DIY bolts ons.

:)

Yeah Super High Output,

Man do they run, very hard car to mod to get the performance you would like out of them. 0-60 sucks 60 and above and she will give you a run for the money.

The Transmissions are very weak. The really bad part is they like 2k for a rebuilt one and there are no aftermarket ones.

The manual SHO's are rare.

But I am glad I got the G35, wanted a sedan but the coupe grew on me.
Larger aftermarket and several forums.
