windows aren't working :(

I've had my car for about a month, and everything has been working fine. I got out of work today and my car has been sitting out in the sun for 9 hours, when I tried to roll down my windows, they wouldn't go down -.- I toggled the window lock on and off, but still no luck. I tried to turn my car off, let it rest, then turn it back on, but windows were still dead. Not only that, but the lock/unlock button on the door panel isn't working either. The car itself runs fine, but I'm just worried about the windows and locks.

I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem in the past, and has any ideas for an easy fix. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow since it's still on warranty, but I want to see if I can fix it now. Thanks in advance.

If all your switches aren't working its not your windows, I would think its the actual switches. Does the passenger window go down using the switch on the passenger side?....Take a flathead screwdriver and a cloth (just to make sure nothing get scratched) and you can easily pry up the switch assembly to make sure the harness is connected correctly. Pry it up on the edge closest to the back of the car. Really its simple to do and you wont hurt anything.

If you hold the unlock button on your remote, do the windows go down? Shouldn't have to worry about getting the windows back up as this can be done by putting your key in the door lock and holding it in the lock position.

I had the regulator swapped out at the dealer under warranty as well.

It's a known issue

would the regulator affect the power door locks as well? cause my windows and door locks stop working at the same time, and its usually when the weather gets warm
