Vibration Noises

G35 Sports Coupe 6 MT

Looking for anyone that might have come across any or all, and solutions that the dealership had. Taking it in for the first oil change, and would like to have plenty of ammo. Thanks

1.Rear view mirror vibrates.
2.Sound coming from right rear window.
3.Gas tank not being able to be filled all the way.
4.Dimmer switch doesn't work for dashboard lights when headlights are on.
5.Just this past Saturday, and only then I heard knocking when just started near engine area.

Re: Vibration Noises

The only one I've has is #2 - rattle from right rear window. The dealer thought is was the parcel shelf TSB, so they did the TSB and added the insulation, and that fixed it for about 1,000 miles, but now the rattle is back and worse than ever, although now its intermittent. Pretty annoying though.

Re: Vibration Noises

Thanks to those fellow G35 Enthusiast that have replied already.

Clunking Noise-I have read in the owners manual pages 5-23, 24.
1.Vehicle self test of the Anti Lock brake system
2." " VDC System

Those of you experiencing the same please reply along with the issues unresolved at my original posting.

Re: Vibration Noises

There's a TSB on (1)rear view mirror area and from (2)right rear window/parcel shelf. i had the same thing, but it was faint and mostly heard when my right tires hit the freeway dividers/marks. It was very annoying and went to the dealership 3x and they refused to fix it because accdg to them, they cant hear it and cant find anything wrong inside. Probably from opening and closing the parcel shelf that it went away by itself. I wont be surprised if it comes back again. That's the only thing i dont like w/ the G, "rattles"! - feels not as solid as performance!

about the knocking noise from the front, as you know already, that's the abs/vdc resetting... a little annoying too for it's kinda too loud. most if not all dont have this noise. sent email to main infiniti co. and they said, we'll take it to consideration to make our cars better in the future.

right now, i learned to live w/ it and focus on what's hot in our G35coupe!

Re: Vibration Noises

i had problem #3 for a while, but i'm at 1600 miles and its filling up all the way now...
since the tank holds 20 gallons, 1/4 full should fill up 15 gallons, but it filled up less, which which means the car had more than 5 gallons, which means the cars fuel gauge overestimates the amount of gas in the car...
how much mileage are you at??
