hey can someone tell me which spray paint can is most representative of our red coupe color? ive actually painted two pieces on my car at 2 seperate times and both are slightly the wrong color which is really bothering. so could you please let me know which spray paint most closely looks like our RED color coupe? it not need be engine temp paint unless its is a close to near perfect color match. thanks guys. Paintscratch.com will get you an exact match in a spray can. But you need to buy a separate can of clear coat also for it to match.

Imracerx, Find a bodyshop supplier (supplies paint to all bodyshops) and ask them to sell you the factory color in a spraycan or if you have a spray gun, about 1 pint of paint. These suppliers can get you the factory colors. Most new car dealers, get their paints from the same place that independent shops do.

 

I have a neighbor that owns a very high end corvette body shop, Burke Corvettes. He told me to match 1 pint of Laser Red paint (the color of my coupe) EXACTLY would cost about $90.00. He says that there are so many expensive colors in our laser red that it's amazing. When I told him that I could buy touch up paint for $3.00 a bottle at Orlando Infinity he laughed. Then he told me that the manufacturer mixes paint for touch ups only, and if I tried buying enough bottles of this stuff, and then sprayed my hood, I'd cry due to the poor color match. For some reason, after seeing his completely rebuilt, repainted, 2002 Z06, I believe him.
