Just turned 8,500 on my 2003 Laser Red G35 Coupe. Just an old man enjoying a nice slow pace with a great ride.

1,700miles

'06 G35C 6MT in IP

car was hit in the rear and took my sweet *** time getting it done (over a year) hence why it has such low mileage

Have you had any major mechanical issues yet??? Tranny? Engine?
Suspension? Axles?
See my Sig. Almost 113k now on my '03. Bought it with 6 miles.

Problems:

~5k miles, clicking rear axle. Fixed under warranty.
~20k miles, driver's window motor died. Fixed under warranty.
~25k, ~35k, free brake pad/rotor changes, per brake "complaints." Not
really problems, but it was covered because people complained about
brake wear.
~50k, accidentally broke off driver's side rear view mirror. Fixed it
myself for ~$150
~85k, driver's side front wheel bearings died (grinding sound,
vibrations on turns). Fixed myself for ~$450 (replaced both sides.)
~109k driver's door lock actuator died. Fixed it myself for ~$250

Maintenance wise (did myself unless otherwise noted):
-Mobil 1 5w-30 at 1500, 3750, 6000. . .then about every 4k since.
-rear diff synth oil changes at 30k, 60k, 90k. Used mobile1 first two
times then redline last time.
-flushed coolant at 60k and 112k (60k done at dealer.)
-Trans fluid "change" at 30k, 60k at dealer. I'll do it again when I
get my VB and TQconverter.
-Michellin PS2s until 25k then until 45k, BFG KDW2s until 85k and then
until 112k. FK452s are on now.

Upgraded stuff:
-Stoptech Stage II rotors/SS brakelines, DOT4 fluid change at 50k. Have
gone through 3 sets of Hawk HPS+ pads since, rotors are still 3/4 of
allowable thinkness. (I'm not a psycho on the brakes.)
-borla exhaust, MD spacer, TS reflash, ztube-pc thrown on ~60k.
-completely upgraded sound system ~95k
-sustec proSEVENs + TEAS installed a few months ago (112k)
-vortech in a box. . . will probably install this summer.

No CELs and no other issues.

Hot Damn..thanks for the detailed response!

~5k miles, clicking rear axle. Fixed under warranty. >I also had the issue with the window modulator and Axle clicking(twice).
~20k miles, driver's window motor died. Fixed under warranty.^^
~25k, ~35k, free brake pad/rotor changes, per brake "complaints." Not
really problems, but it was covered because people complained about
brake wear. >Nice, that u got them to pay for this..I changed this myslef at about same time upgraded to Rotora rotors and Hawk pads.
~50k, accidentally broke off driver's side rear view mirror. Fixed it
myself for ~$150
~85k, driver's side front wheel bearings died (grinding sound,
vibrations on turns). Fixed myself for ~$450 (replaced both sides.)>Expensive D.I.Y. project, wonder what the dealer would have charged!
~109k driver's door lock actuator died. Fixed it myself for ~$250> Not sure what the actuator is, but I am currently habing trouble with drivers side door unlocking with remote.

Maintenance wise (did myself unless otherwise noted):
-Mobil 1 5w-30 at 1500, 3750, 6000. . .then about every 4k since.> Me too; some people dont like using Mobil 1. I think it's a good value for a Synth.
-rear diff synth oil changes at 30k, 60k, 90k. Used mobile1 first two
times then redline last time.>I have never done this job; maybe I should, huh?
-flushed coolant at 60k and 112k (60k done at dealer.) >I did this along with brake fluid flush at 52K.
-Trans fluid "change" at 30k, 60k at dealer. I'll do it again when I
get my VB and TQconverter. >Now this really pisses me off..The dealer has told me repeatedly that I dont need a manual tranny flush, even though I have requested it. Did you see any improvement by getting this done(smother shifting)?
-Michellin PS2s until 25k then until 45k, BFG KDW2s until 85k and then
until 112k. FK452s are on now. >too much to list but my OEM's lasted about 25k miles.
