Does anyone know where i can find just the engine of a VQ35de ? instead of ebay, like sites that just sell only engines ??

EDIT* my idea is to take an R32 SEDAN/saloon and swap the RB20 and put a VQ35 in it .

look around here and my350z there's always a few up there. many performance shops have them too

 

THANKS ! bc i was thinking of selling my G in the FAR FAR FUTURE and getn an R32 Sedan (for the space , then swapping the RB20 for the VQ) make it some what of a sleeper

 

what about junkyards? find a Z or G with rearend damage...

 

i found a totallyed G and they took out the engine and still is for sale on ebay for 300 also for the transmission !

 

look for one in person... like go to a junkyard... or at least be very careful on ebay... they could sell you a blown engine

 

ya, but do u think there are that many totalled Gs out there, i mean if there is kinda sad, but good for the buyer

 

But why you want a DE engine tho?

 

i love the engine, plus if the RB20 breaks down, thers no parts within the US or there to hard to get.

Sounds like a scam to me.

its easier to replace an rb20 with an rb26 as it all matches up easier in terms of gearbox and engine mounts. also its not too difficult to get the wiring right
