how fast are they?

 

Technically faster than our cars cuz they have 7 more hp and 200 less lbs, BUT in reality, it's really a driver's race.

i ran a standard 350z about a month ago, and mine's an auto g35c, we were side by side the whole time, neither of us pulled, both are stock, mine was prolly alot heavier also considering i have system in my car.

I've raced quite a few Z's on the freeway and on the street. I guess you can say we are near the same speed but i've won against every z i've encountered

 

I've yet to lose to a Z.. I am waiting for one to show mr up one day however.

lost by half a car cause he got a better launch.(it was a track model) when I first got this car after about a month of having it... so. I dunno.

and I beat a performance model with leather off the lights to the highway entrance and on the highway.. but that was whoever hit the gas first in a better rpm/gear range. .... no pullin.

Same car pretty much, its about the launch tho man.... its all about the launch.

Like any race, I think it comes down the to the driver. Technically, I agree the z should be faster. Someone with a good launch and shifting can put a faster car to shame.

 

Driver ability for sure. The first time my wife borrowed my 6MT she raced and beat a 350Z. It was from a rolling start out of an on-ramp toll booth where two on-ramp lanes merge into one. The 350z tried to take her and she nailed it and had him by a 1/2 carlength. He had to concede.

I wish I was could drive as good as my wife....
