Since I have to break the car in first, I guess I can stick to the stock suspension until I save enough $$ to upgrade it and the wheels...how much roughly does that cost?

And how long does it take to break the car in?

Suspension upgrades can be as cheap as lowering springs and bigger wheels/tires... then the sky is the limit after that - literally

that depends on what you buy you can get springs for around $200 or coilovers for $700+... just do some research and see what you like/what/need

id say 1000 miles is a good break in

Interesting...I think I will go for the regular suspension then. I can always tune it. You guys are really helpful, I look forward to be part of this community! Thanks!

I might be wrong, but wasn't the LSD available only with the sport package?

I def would want the LSD, traction is very important on this car.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Screw the bling stuff, that can be done later on. Factory installed LSD alone is well worth the price of the whole Sport Suspension Pkg.

Although the 19" forged Rays wheels are bling, they are also very expensive and also worth the money for the package.

Premium Pkg does not automatically upgrade to 18" wheels. Have to get the Performance Tire and Wheel Pkg on top of Premium to get 18" wheels.

Sorry I'm new to the forums, just got a G after my Supra burnt down, but in regards to this topic I would say IF you get this car and suspension is what you are worried about... If money is not an option, then get both the suspension and rims at the same time. If you wanted to do one or the other... I say get rims first... It is usually the most expensive thing until you get into Forced Induction.

There is a breakin period, which is spelled out in your owner's manual. I forget what it is, but it's not too long.
I have the sport suspension but for me it's not a big deal. I don't push the car that much and the ride would probably be more comfortable w/o it. But I'm in my late 30s and I imagine most of you are younger than I am, at least when tuning and beefing up the cars.

So I went ahead and got the car...2007 G35 coupe, inventory leftover, brand new, broke the 100 mile mark driving back

No sports suspension, 18" wheels...'tis ok.

LOVING THE CAR!
