Re: Greddy Turbo Kit for the G.???
I think everything you need comes with the kit. Although some companies sell the intercoolers seperatly. Who are you looking to buy it from?
What to look for:
2 Turbos, 2 wastgates, 2 exhaust manifolds, boost controler, blow off valve, fuel managment(fuel pump, lines, fittings and injectors), engine management(piggy back or stand alone and afc), intercooler(w/ piping), and airfilters.
An exhaust isn't needed, but it would definatly help free up hp up top. But, by keeping the stock exhaust you'll have more torque down low.
As for the install, I doubt any dealer will install it because the risk of it actually being the cause of failure are pretty high. Keep in mind that a properly tuned TT in our car can put down 400+ hp to the wheels and more w/ internal upgrades.
And technically, if the turbos are the cause of the failure(engine, trans, diff, axles, or drive shaft), your warranty will be void. It really doesn't matter who installs it. And if a dealer agrees to install it, they may make you sign a waiver stating that you are aware that the turbos could cause failure of other components and those components would not be covered under warranty.
If you don't know anything about turbos, I'd go with either the Stillen or Vortech SC. Turbos can be a little tricky to tune properly.
