Re: black and red

Red if it's a coupe, because it's a sports car. Think sports, think red...passion, speed, confidence. Black is nice, but way too hard to keep clean. Look at most G35 coupe ads, they're red, enough said.

Red is your sports car look. Black is your downright mean look.

Re: black and red

I have to agree with the above post. All of my sports cars have been black b/c if you keep it clean you can't beat it. Plus black hides the space between body panels much better than any other color.

If my vette was red I would name my domain www.sharpazzvette.com, not www.badazzvette.com. Nuff said...

Re: black and red

black, when its clean it looks sporty and luxurious. i used to own a red sports car and never got pulled over so much in my life. red sticks out to much. imo you do get pulled over more in red cars. and btw, in the new york city area, when the g coupe first came out, all the g coupe ads were of black and white.

Re: black and red

Red the first day you get it: INCREDIBLE
Black the first day you get it: INCREDIBLE

Girl standing at a stop light:

Black = she loves it
Red = you know she loves it

3 months later after a car wash

Black: in the shade ur smiling bigger than you ever have. In the sun however you find yourself looking for a gun to shoot yourself

Red: In the shade (smiles), in the sun (smiles).

Lastly if you got time to clean black get it cuz the look is ridiculous. If you dont and you want an awesome look get the red!!! I have black and if it came between black and red knowing what I know now I would have took the red. The only reason I took the black is because it was the only one with nav coming in for a while. Hope this helps (lol).

Re: black and red

Fact is the car looks great in any color.

Most of the ads I've seen for the car are Brilliant Silver, so????????

Re: black and red

I just love red. My last car (95 3000GT VR-4) was red. The only downside I notice is that during the day the cool looking tail lights don't stand out like on other colors. Other than that, I love my red G!

Most of the ads I've seen were red coupes ... I still have my June 2003 issue of Men's Health with both pages of the inside cover is a red coupe *drool*. There was also a billboard here in Chicagoland (exiting 290E to 294S) that you looked straight at on the exit ramp that was also a red coupe. It's now a silver G35X though

Re: black and red

i agree with somewhat the taillights comment... they don't stand out as well as they do on the IP... but i still think they look awesome

i had some second thoughts too, "gone" (except i preferred IP and DG)

when you see your car at the dealer, prepped/shiny and ready to go all your second thoughts will be gone, replaced by a huge smile. don't worry - red is the way
