Re: Help with Coupe splash guard install..
Nope. Got to remove them. Is that a big deal? I did it on my coupe and I absolutely love the way they look on it. Also, I did not trust the smal self adhesive tape that comes with the splash guards so I went ot home depot and got a super strong M3 double tape.

Redwillow did his w/out removing. Used a really long bit and drilled at a slight angle.

Is there anyway to get around having to remove the rear wheels?? Its impossible to get the drill and drill bit in there to make the holes.

I have installed 2 sets of them without removing the rear wheels. So it is def possible....but you need to be handy with a drill.
Like russ said, for the rears i used a long bit extension and drilled at an angle. The second set, i used some small clamps to hold the SG in place while i drilled, which made it easier. For the fronts, you can turn the wheels and if you use a rt angle drill and short bit, you can do the bottom holes without even jacking up the G. Good luck.
OH... and you should add some extra double stick tape near the factory tape to prevent that little gap on the back.

Re: Help with Coupe splash guard install..
I put mine on last week.....and learned on the left side!
I jacked the car up to do the front underneath.....and took the rear tire off to do the back ones.
BUT......then I figured out that all you are drilling thru is Plastic!...no metal....so I got a short. sharp punch....and used it on the other side.
No problem.....no jacking....no wheel removal.
But I agree with more good double side tape to hold them tight.
Good luck and just take your time.
You are only young once.....but you can be immature forever!

Yea....I was suprised....I thought I had to drill thru metal.
No problem at all....just make sure it is sharp pointed.
A small ice pick would work.
Remember the old adage.....measure twice....& cut once.
