Rear Seat
Rear Seat
This is a stupid question but how do I get the rear seat to go down? I can't find a lever or button for it anywhere. There's the button on the top middle, but it just seems to let me know that the seat is locked back. A gallon of water spilled in my trunk and some poured behind the back seat and I need to get it to fold down so I can air it out.
Re: Rear Seat
When you ordered your car, did you pay the $500 to the dealer for the "folding rear seat option"?
(just kidding...)
Okay, honk three times, then flash your high beams... the seat will flip down automatically.
(just messin' with ya...)
Pop the trunk and pull the handle on the upper left side

Re: Rear Seat
There are two levers to fold the rear seat down. One you can access from the trunk and one you can access from the back seat area. Did you try checking your owners manual? That provides you with detailed pictures and description.

Hi MrElussive
On the 04 coupe I think the only way to do it is to pop the trunk and pull the handle on the upper left side... there's no lever/ access from the back seat/ interior (...that I know of?)

Re: Rear Seat
there is a red nylon strap that you pull to release from the inside of the car. It is probably stuffed under the cushion. try feeling between the seatback and seat in the middle.
Has anyone figured out a way to make the sedan's rear seat fold down or move in some way shape or form? my snowboard doesn't fit through the pass through and i was too excited at the dealer to think of this *basic* feature
