Re: how many G's in ur area?

In mahneck of the woods in Queens, NY, I see Coupes as often as I see M3's. Maybe 1-2 a day...the coupe that is, not the Sedan. Sedans are everywhere.

Re: how many G's in ur area?

I live in Houston, 4 Infiniti dealers - TONS of Sedans and coupes...I think there is a coupe in my neighborhood...I seem to have more in common with the 350 drivers than the G drivers in my area (except lead_foot heh)

Re: how many G's in ur area?

I'm in LA where we have tons of every car - almost every other car on the road is a BMW or Honda.
I drive mostly in the WLA & Valley area and I am actually surprised at how few coupes I see. I also am surprised that I see even fewer Z's. So the G coupe is still a fairly exclusive ride, even in LA (which is saying something!!). On the other hand, I do see a lot of G35 sedans!.

I know there's a BS or DG coupe on the same street as my parents' house. I've seen a couple of other DG and BS coupes around. They are starting to be more plentiful, but still relative rare here in MN.
I think there is a reason why there are so many G coupes in LA. My wife went on a trip there last month and she talked to several young guys while at a couple of different Christian groups she was visiting. Their dream car (as in something they hope to realisticly own one day)? The G35 coupe for all of them.

TONS of sedans around my area.. the number of coupes is definitely increasing everyday.. for a while, i had the only coupe in town.. then after couple months, i saw one or two.. now, it's gettin to the point where i'll see at least 1-3 coupes per day on my commute to and from work..

well, at least i was exclusive for a while

coupes are now breaking even with the sedans over here. strangely though, most of the coupe drivers i've seen here are older (looking 50-ish). before, i used to see no coupes and 1-3 sedans a day.

Yeah, it seems that the coupes I see around here are either driven by women or 40-50-ish guys. I don't recall seeing a guy my age (almost 30) in a coupe before.

They'll dream about the GTR when it comes out. I think that the GTR reputation will be like the M3 with the 3 series. I'm kind of disappointed that the G35 has become the Japanese 3 series.

There are four in the parking lot at work, ~300 people. They are all coupes, mine, two DG/graphite, one MB/graphite. It's beautiful to see.

Re: how many G's in ur area?

Since I bought my G in March 2003, I have seen about 4 coupes in my area and 5 sedans. There wasn't a dealership with in 60 miles until last June. The coupes I have seen are plain, no rims, no tint.
I hope it stays that way, I like to have something different.

Re: how many G's in ur area?

Way too many coupes in boston, its seems like they are more g35coupes than 3series...i see one at every corner.
for some reason ii don't like what i am seeing...i liked having a car that no one else had, i also bought a coupe few days after it came out
its time for a body kit or something..

Re: how many G's in ur area?

In AZ, a few, not more then 10. Funny, one day I was waiting for a friend in a parking lot and parked next to a blue coupe and was just sitting out side my black coupe, well, the owner of the blue coupe came out of the store and we got to talking about our G's and all of a sudden a white coupe rolls up and parks next to us and we all just hung out for a half hour, talking about our cars, it looked like a meet in a parking lot. Good times.

Re: how many G's in ur area?

I am from Brooklyn, NY i was in Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ for like 5 days visiting some friends and family and for some reason i so ALOTTTT of 350Z's all over the place.
Back here in brooklyn, i actually see more coupes daily then i do sedans. Maybe i am looking for them? Maybe the fact that i know where to find one at any hr of the day is weird? lol i am stalking them now what can i say i want mine soon lol. I think i am going to get TB or CB or LR just to be different because i see ~10 a day easily and they are all IP, OB, DG, or BS - have yet to see one with clear corners. And i have actually only seen one IP one with aftermarket 18" rims - every other one i've seen is AT Aero Kit Prem and Stock 18"s - they are kinda getting boring to look at - but i still love them - ill just go that extra yard to be different i guess - but owning a 3-series used to kick butt even though everyone and their mother had one - so i guess it goes the same way for the g coupe now sad to say but true - oh well atleast people are smart - id rather see more g's then more 330ci's i guess
