I read somewhere that there are restrictions to the navigation while it's in motion, can someone elaborate on this? The specific post I read did not include what the restrictions were. Thanx

 

You can't program destinations into the Nav if you're moving. If you have a destination set in your address book (on the first page), you can set it as your destination, but you can't enter physical addresses, search the database of known addresses, or choose categories while in motion.

Now, you CAN bypass this by tricking the Nav into thinking your car is in fact not moving. It's a pretty simple mod that is spelled out here.

I did this nav mod myself last Saturday in about 40 minutes and I'm all thumbs. Buy the right connectors and wire and a short crimper and you'll love it.
