You should be leaving the car in gear anyway when you park and turn it off, so:

1) put it in first or reverse (depending on direction of hill)
2) keep clutch in, don't stall, lol
3) pull e-brake
4) turn off car and you won't hear chatter, release clutch

I almost forgot the clutches make that noise cause I'm always parking in gear anyway.

Just got my 04 G35 coupe 6mt on Thursday. I noticed the rattling noise when I have my clutch out in neutral, and also the rattle at low rpms. I'm trusting you guys that this isn't a problem. Its more prevalent after the car has been running for awhile--when I push my clutch in, the sound disappears. Other than the rattle, I have no problems with my transmission or engine. By the way, I love these cars

My car's been doing it since 27k when I bought it (now at 57k), so far no issues that I believe are related to it lol... I've had the clutch ped stick a few times on extended drives when it's 120F out... other than that no issues. It's the throw-out bearing causing the noise, which is normal on the 6MT's as stated before several times.

it is just the flywheel slowing down. There is chatter. You hear it more with the light weight flywheels.
