the car is not a performance-focused vehicle, and is more luxury-oriented than say, a Z, sti, evo, cobra... it is marketed as a luxo-coupe with conservative styling (compared to, say, bmw) and therefore appeals across most upper-middle class demographics

 

girls who can drive stick are cool in my book.

Here in central Cali all the G owners are 20-30 yr. old Asians. I am the only white female, of the 2 of us, in the bay area, Golden Gate G35 Club. I am also an oldie, 41 and lov'in it. I work on my own car, I installed my CAI. I regret not getting the 6MT. But I'm always looking for a red light with a ricer in the other lane. I get thumbs up from young guys all the time.

i have to say that where i live ( s.f. bay area ), i've honestly only seen two female coupe drivers. That's in the year and a half the coupes have been out. as far as the sedan, i think about half i've seen have female drivers.

 

4:30....I know what you mean. I drive from Torrance to Sylmar or Westwood. Horrible traffic.

In responding to the original question, the G35 is really under my wife's name. Sometimes she drives it, but she's mostly scared of the car. She prefers cars where the brakes "don't stop right away."

 

Female....In Houston soon be rolling on 20's. Watch out fellas. ;-)

female here. i have a g35 6 spd coupe...

i will ONLY buy manuals. possibly when i mature in age and get arthritis, tennis elbow, or whatever i'll buy a auto but for now i think i will have a manual till the day i die =) my first car was a wrx, then and STi...i don't think i can ever go back to an automatic. i get bored without all the manual shifting. =P

" - I resent that..i'm 31 wait..not for another 2 months..but yah it's true I either see asian guys like myself or really old "gray hair" guys driving around...Watch out for Linda...she'll SMOKE U on the freeway...remember when we had that meet and all u saw were G's racing down 101 North...Damn u kept revin on me and me had to play catch up...wait that's when i had the sedan...!
