Factory Paint Question

Hey guys, i was wondering, I've heard that at the Factory Infiniti/Nissan paint their bumpers separate from the overall car? I heard about this awhile ago but I totally forgot until i was browsing ebay and noticed this gorgeous G for sale. Look at the rear bumper in the the 3rd pic. Let me know guys, thanks!

No bumpers are painted on the car really, and a lot of bumpers (any make) will look to have a different hue to it.

That rear is pretty bad though, but it could be a repaint cause this picture shows more orange peel than normally seen on Infinitis

You can paint a fender right next to a bumper and they will look different nine times out of ten. Its hard to explain but paint looks different from metal to plastic.
